We didn’t know what to expect taking our AWD Rav4 up here to car camp, and went into it saying we would start the drive and stop if we felt like our car couldn’t handle it, but it was great! It took about 30 minutes to get up and we stayed under 20mph to be safe, but it was worth it. What a gorgeous place to wake up! There was one other car of campers but the area is relatively large and open. Overall, definitely recommend! We have ATT and Verizon, service was spotty but decent. Wish we could’ve stayed longer than one night. It looks like it closes during the winter so keep that in mind. Check it out! We will be back! 😊

Had the entire space to ourselves for 4 days. So beautiful!! We had T-Mobile and service was spotty. I would say we had service about 30% of the time.

I’m sure it would have been great but gate was locked and road was closed. Must be a seasonal location.

My favorite place in Big Bear. Remote, yet not too remote. Had enough service to work and do zoom calls. Mountain biking is AMAZING up here.
