Nestled in the Tongass National Forest this is a bustling trailhead and boat launch during the day and mostly peaceful place to rest at night. Occasional kids will come driving through late at night but more often it's the 5am hikers whooping, excited to get to the glacier. The glacial fed lake is a refreshing ice cold refreshing place to take a dip.
