Horizontal street side parking. Overnight parking is allowed. As always check the signs. Right off the beach, restaurants, etc.

Horizontal street parking literally 10 steps and you are on the sand.. free overnight parking (no parking mon thru Thursday 8am til 10am for street cleaning. Close to amusement park and restaurants.

Was able to park here with no issues. Steps from the beach. The sign says there is street cleaning mon-thurs 8-10am but there were still lots of cars parked during that timeframe. We moved into the mission beach parking lot which is fairly empty.

Stayed here two nights free no problem right next to the beach and amusement park. Total steal if you can get a spot would 10/10 recommend:)

CAUTION: Great day parking spot close to beach, bars, restaurants and amusement park. Bathrooms, and showers are nearby at the beach. A word of caution as there is usually a police presence nearby as the larger beach lot does have serious crime/vandalism issues. Be smart and do not leave vehicle unlocked or with valuables in view. This area is also very busy with gangs, police activity, and especially on holidays and weekends. I would not park overnight here.
