This is right on the coast literally feet from the beach, however, there are no amenities to speak of. There is no water here! There are a few porta-janes up by the check-in kiosk but the park stretches for over a 1/4 mile so you could be quite far away. The parking slips are quite thin so you will be close to your fellow campers. There is a small section of asphalt to park but it's short and drops off so you'll most likely have to level your rig. It was first-come-first-served just after covid but usually requires reservations. There are train tracks right next to the campground but the trains are infrequent and short and surprisedly quiet. You can also see and hear highway 101 above but it also wasn't too bad.

We happened to get site #19 which was perfect for our van because it was the only spot where you park parallel to the ocean! It was great for 1 night. The sounds of the ocean completely drown out the train and highway sound👍🏻😃 Just kinda pricey for a campground with no water, etc.

RVs only. Car camping not allowed. Felt safe but got told by a cop this morning that I can’t actually stay here in my car. Must have toilet in your vehicle. Right off the highway and next to the ocean.
