STATE LAND TRUST permit required as white sign states on way in. Good for up to 14 days in one yr. Pay online before the boys make their rounds (came knocking on a Saturday) or risk being “trespassed.” Covers roughly 3 miles in; views and proximity to Sedona are worth it. Watch for brown sign indicating change to RedRockRanger District: $5000 fine & jail time if dispersed outside of RRRD’s little approved areas, which can be found on 525

Stayed 2 months after the first reviewer and had a similar experience. Sheriff does rounds on Saturday morning. A few minutes to Cottonwood for amenities. 15 minutes from Sedona. Quiet place, despite OHV area. National forest dispersed camping in the area has been shut down, so this was the next cheapest spot. Decent cell service. No bathrooms or road maintenance so I'm not really sure what the fee goes towards.
