I surf River Run Park all the time and see ppl parked here overnight frequently. I parked here 2 nights in a row to surf from Mt Sckut truck camper and its safe, well lit and no signs for camping. Plus there's bathrooms across the bridge.

Was in the area read the review and decided to give it a try showed up at around 6:30 PM set my truck up and went down to the water went for a hike. Enjoyed the view went back up to my truck got settled in fell asleep at about 10 PM.  at around 2:45 AM got woken up by getting dragged out of my truck by the Sheridan police department. There is absolutely no camping anywhere in Sheridan.  I was told by the police great place for day parking do not make the same mistake I did.
