I stayed here the other night and it was pretty peaceful. A few people burning rubber around the country roads, but otherwise peaceful and no one disturbed me. I even saw the wildlife management truck in the morning and they didn’t say a word to me. Just sketchy if you’re not used to staying off grid a little.

Strange WMA worker and strange people driving around but generally good. Primitive campground right by a beautiful creek. The guy who works here was adamant about looking out for drunk high schoolers and even calling the cops on them if they got rowdy but it’s been quiet since we arrived. There was one sketchy car that went past us and stopped at a dead end street but still feels safe. Another good WMA spot. Technically you need a hunting, fishing, or lands pass for $30-$60 but they don’t check.
