Overnight Parking
Bathrooms, trash and water. Lots of space not a lot that is level.
I actually lived at this rest stop for 3 months a couple years back. As long as you Leave early and arrive late you can stay as long as you like. You can shower for just a couple bucks at Harris campground across the 101. Brookings is a beautiful town.
Pulled in about 2AM on a Sunday, left the next morning. Bathrooms were open and pretty clean. Good little spot to take advantage of; not a lot of other state rest stops like this on the coast.
Was ready to spend the night but I guess I came to early, an OR state park guy came around and gathered license plate info. Knew the risk with the no parking sign, but thought I’d give it a try… no dice.
Cant overnight here, 4 hr limit.
Nice quiet rest stop off the 101 with lots of parking. Signs say limited to 4 hours overnight.
4 hour limit enforced. But that being said… Many cars and campers arriving late at 10 and staying overnight, many more on the weekend. Make sure to leave early before 7:30 or risk a knock of shame and a license registration!
