No amenities but free camping on Wilcox Playa Wildlife Area at a gravel lot. 14 day stay limit and hiking trails down to seasonally flooded area where the sand hill cranes rest on their migration. Easy access from paved road, even had a Skoolie neighbor while we were here. As always, when visiting a location without amenities, please pack out everything, including human waste, to keep this place wild.

Gravel parking lot next to the road for the hiking trails. As mentioned no amenities. Keep an eye on your animals as there was a large hawk perched nearby.

Lovely spot! Quiet, except for some road noise in the early morning. Two other rigs were there when we arrived. Decent cell service. Make sure to pack it all out so this site stays open!
