Easy access, nice, quiet spot a few minutes off 395 at Fremont Peak road. Once you turn onto the hard-packed dirt entrance, look for the RM231 sign to the left. Follow the dirt road to the noted spot and you'll find a large, mostly flat clearing with room for multiple rigs. There's one small fire pit. Further along the road (about 3/4 of a mile) is another clearing with even more room. There are many trails and roads in the area for off-roading but I've been here for 3 days/nights and haven't seen one other vehicle since my friends in their 5th wheel departed. Traffic on 395 is visible from this spot but there's zero road noise. Looks like people have been having target practice in one area and I've cleaned up a bit but there's more I won't be able to haul out. The parking/flat space is fairly clean.
