There is a sign at the southern entrance road saying gate closed, but it was open when we went. Also…road in is EXTREMELY steep, just be prepared and know your rigs limitations. Few spots in this area, ranging in size, could fit a few rigs to only single truck camper. There is one small spot with amazing view of lake branching off from the first large spot. We stayed a little further along the road, nice view of lake, beautiful forest and lots of critters around. Also some foraging :)
