Amazing BLM campground that have fire pits, amazing views, and incredible landscapes. Make sure you hike part of the trail and see the canyon. You'll probably find some obsidian. The trail is dog-friendly

This spot is great. Perfect for a single night if you’re heading up/down the 395. Not too far off the highway, could easily access with 2 wheel drive, and the cell signal was crazy good. Good views and a single pit toilet was a nice to have feature. I could see the highway in the distance and heard a few particularly loud cars but it was very quiet otherwise. $6/night.
