This is a great place. I’ve parked here several nights. Overnight parking is technically not allowed for RVs but I’ve never had a problem with my van. They lock the gate from 10pm-4am so no entering or leaving between those times. This place is good so please respect it, clean up after yourself, and don’t be an eyesore.

No overnight camping is being enforced. Consistent tickets late October / early November 2021. Overnight parking is allowed to passenger vehicles but no overnight camping stealth or not. This is a Great spot otherwise & no knock to leave just tickets on the windshield.
Parked here a few nights, super chill spot with bathrooms open all night when I stayed. Perfect for a lovely morning beach walk!!
Nice place to hang out for the day. Short walk to beach or bay. Lots of grass to hang out on. Will not be spending the night.
If you don’t have a permit you’ll get $120 fine
Leveled parking lot, overlooking the bay. Signs dictate, Overnight parking allowed. No camping allowed. They don't want homeless people setting up camp. You might be locked in the parking lot from 10PM-4AM as they might close the gate. I stayed three nights, the gate was never locked. Bathroom open all night. Highly recommended
A favorite spot of ours in San Diego! Always seems like other van dwellers are around too. Great for paddle boarding or swimming in the summer. Would recommend staying quiet at night so we can keep this spot open. There are technically no dogs allowed on the grassy areas during the day. The restrooms can be dodgy, and the shower is cold only but somewhat private.
Best overnight parking! We stayed 4 nights there. Quiet and close to the beach.
Was told this was a hidden gem before it was put on van life! Lots of vans here and felt very safe. Bathrooms got really messy by the end of the night but were clean in the morning. Gorgeous area.
This is a really nice place! I did feel uneasy at one point where three men in a red truck came and parked beside us. Asked if I had a cigarette said no. Saw my hand sanitizer so asked if he could have some, said sure. Told me he liked my set up and vibe(van). Fiancé came in the van from watching the views couple steps away and he backed off. It was getting dark at that point so we drove off and came back about 30 minutes later. They were gone. As always, be aware of your surroundings!
Excellent description of this location. I regularly use this location for daytime visits almost daily with 2-3 overnights weekly. Very cordial and professional park staff.
Overnight parking for passengers vehicles. This is a great place but it is still illegal to park vans or recreational vehicles so just know that you are still risking that here. Tickets issued on halloween weekend.
Stayed 3 nights over the weekend. No issues, lots of other vans were here as well. It is noisy at night and the bathrooms are in rough shape.
Everything was as described by others as of mid-June. A variety of vans, car campers and other RV type vehicles were in the lot and it was obvious and confirmed by some regulars that they don’t enforce the “no camping” posted signs. It was reasonably clean, the restrooms were not bad when I stayed one night. Cool thing - you can see sea world fireworks show from this spot.
Totally a legal place to stay in a van or passenger vehicle. There are rvs here too but the signs say they are not allowed. Nice place to park
Amazing spot. No issues. Probably 50 other vans.
