Signs posted say no vehicles above 7ft tall or 22 ft long between 12 midnight and 6am. I saw one van there the next morning so maybe there aren’t super strict about it.

I live in the Bay Area and whenever I need to be in the city this is where I park. I always feel safe, there’s other vans often parked along the way. Waking up to the ocean sounds in the background is great. It’s just a hop over the dune to be on the beach. Traffic sounds stop around ten and picked up around 6. I like this also because there’s not a sidewalk on the side of my car! People still walk by on the grass/sand but less so than the opposite sidewalk.

Plenty of parking on the side along with other campers. Quiet area no disturbance whatsoever and bathrooms walking distance. Clean bathrooms with toilet paper.
