There are a handful of small pull offs down this old highway road. Most are just large enough for one van to get off the road. Nice view of the ocean across the lagoon. The weird RV shanty town seemed sketchy at first but we stayed 2 nights and weren't bothered. Usually a handful of other vans every night in the other pull offs. Good cell service ATT and Verizon.

I went further up the road from this pin to the other end of the lagoon. It is a higher up and better views imo. There are a few pullouts up there. I recommend it highly.
