Great place to spend the evening after touring Mesa Verde NP.

Had first dibs on spots getting in earlier in the day. Campfire. Biked 4.5 miles round trip to nearby rest area for a water fill up. Great views. It rained on us though and the mud was pretty bad. Otherwise loved it! Service was decent.

Looks like a great spot but unfortunately it’s closed for deer and elk hunting until April 30th

Great place to post up for the night. Lots of areas to park. Plenty of other vans and tent campers, but spaced out enough to have your own area. Not far from Cortez or Mancos. Sleep here instead of paying $35/night at Mesa Verde NP.

Easy one to get to and we had a great spot on the edge of a meadow
