Was a nice place to stay! Not too far from the water but secluded in a little "savanna" looking wetland. Keep alert because there are alligators around! Lots of wildlife to see. There are laundry facilities here 2$ for washer and 2$ for dryer. The showers were warm but not hot, so mentally prepare yourself if you love hot showers. It was a little run down inside the buildings. The reason I took it down a star is because the placement of sites. Your right next to your neighbors, our neighbors were screaming at each other and we could hear everything! Overall, nice place with a lot to see/do for a cheap price. It was 28$ for us to camp here.

Decent campground amenities and the area is awesome. We saw some amazing birds and an otter. Wish we had seen an alligator!

RV park/campground that has all the amenities. There’s a small river running through the entire place and cool birds. There’s great wildlife watching and a golf course next door. Warm showers, clean facilities and laundry available onsite. Tent camping is allowed. Rates vary based on season and site type from $5 for youth camping, $17 for tent camping, $26 for full hookups. Most sites are back-in but did spot a few pull throughs. Canoes, kayaks and bikes available for rent.

Found this place through the van life app! Thank you all for your reviews and sharing! Great price for full hookups and the feeling of being out in the wild (plenty of different types of birds and some small alligators). Amenities are nice, bathrooms, showers and washer and dryer. When we visited the palace seemed to fill up rather quickly so we’d recommend calling ahead of time to reserve a spot.
