I actually ditched my campsite I paid for to stay here because it felt safer than the campground I was at. Many other campers park in the back of the lot and some even stay to hang out for the day. I connected with many of the other travelers. The walmart is new and clean and just off of the road of the entrance to the park!

Still a solid spot. Can't beat the company of a dozen or more other rigs.

Five stars for a Walmart location. About 8 vans and RVs rode out Ida. Quiet, huge parking lot.

Quiet overnight parking just 20 min from Acadia National Park. We stayed here 3 nights with no issues.
