Free up to 14 days. No potable water, no hookups. Bathroom with flush toilets and sink. No phone service - can get slight connection a few miles up the Trace at the Lower Choctaw Boundary (texting and check weather if you’re lucky). Closest gas is about 15 miles, toward Vicksburg. Closest shopping is about 15 miles -Dollar General in Utica or Dollar General toward Vicksburg. Vicksburg isn’t a bad drive for gas, shopping, food, and sightseeing. Campground itself is pretty nice for free camping. Bathrooms are kept clean. Be careful of limbs falling during storms, but the grounds are kept up fairly well. Rangers or Natchez Trace officers drive through fairly regularly so it feels safe. There’s a trail and creek at the campground, picnic area nearby but set apart from the campground. Restroom by the road is closed, so people will come into the campground for restroom stops. Not a big deal but pick a spot further from the bathroom if that bothers you. People complain about lack of potable water or no phone service, but for a free site it’s nice enough that it’s a regular spot for me as I travel up and down the Trace.

Pros: FREE, Easy access, RV friendly, hiking trail nearby, mostly shaded, small creek to play in Cons: loud generators, busy on weekends, no phone service, no grocery store for MILES (so come prepared)
