Very low key. There was shade but not quite enough for summer in Texas. Not really any great spots to get into the lake for humans but we played in it anyway. Overall fine for free, especially since the local state park is expensive.

Great spot just 3 miles out of town. Had to drive out to the RC plane area for a good enough connection to work, but other than that, great accommodations as the other reviews can attest.

Very clean! Bathrooms available and not many people camping. There are three different culdesacs to park in and they provide great privacy. There were a few people who came out to watch the sunset but they were not loud at all. I stayed here alone with my dog and felt very safe! Each little site has a light that turns on once it gets dark which was nice for taking my dog out at night!
