A large open clearing with many campsites with fire rings. Easy access, and not far off the highway, but quiet. 14 day camping limit. No amenities. 2 bars LTE on Verizon and T-Mobile. Easy access, good road to site. Minivan got stuck in 3 inch deep peanut butter mud (Visited early April, during snow melt, some snow around site, drainage not great. 3 men pushed me out. Parked in dry spot.) 2 sprinters, and 3 trucks with trailers.
Super easy spot off the highway. We were on our way to ski in Park City and there was about 6” of fresh snow here, but it seems to be somewhat maintained for the first few miles. If you have snow tires you likely wouldn’t need 4wd, and it’s a nice free spot for a quick night.
