Paid M-F from 8-5. We pulled in after 5 and stayed into the next morning while we walked around town, it's only $0.85/hour. It's super close to the Capitol and the shopping area. Bathroom right nearby that is open 7:00am-dusk. Only a few other cars parked on the street, half left when the local bars closed. One police officer drove by around 11:00pm but didn't bother us (we were about to go to sleep for the night and we're inside our vehicle), so keep yourself contained just in case. Pretty quiet and safe.
