Right off the highway, take a paved road around the lake and park on either the tarmac boat launch, picnic area or down by the beach. Awesome views up and down the valley. Remember if you’re parked within 200 feet of the water to go elsewhere with your gray water and pack out all waste (including human).

Stayed on the paved area overlooking the lake. Beautiful views. Level. There are fire rings, but there’s currently a fire ban. Pit toilet (no TP) near the trailhead at the beginning of the lot. 2 bars T-Mobile and 4 bars Verizon. Need Northwest forest pass or America the beautiful pass (not discover pass).
As of 8/10/23 this place has been gated off and marked permanently closed, boat launch and all
Great place. Right on the water with full signal. Many other campers around.
