2 miles from the point where Soda Springs Road turns dirt is a short fire road to the right that leads to a flat, open space with a great view. It is BLM land. There is some glass and signs of target shooting but I've been here a few times for multiple nights and have only seen a few people, including BLM fire patrol and they didn't pay any attention to me. Let's be respectful of this space and not get it shut down.
