A bit of a detour off of 40, north of Winslow, but this scenic overview is a must stop in the area. Truly otherworldly. It’s not well kept and the locals appear to use it as a dump for their cases of Coors Light. If you can overlook that (and hopefully carry out an extra bag of trash with you!) you’ll have a wonderful quiet spot for the night. Concrete shade structure and picnic tables available. Please leave it better than you found it ✌️

Absolutely gorgeous spot. We had it all to ourselves and woke up to the sunrise.
