Large public parking lot that allows 72 hour free parking. It’s located downtown so you can roll out of bed and get a latte in the morning. There are several trash cans around the lot. We saw about 5 other rigs parked here as well.

Parked here overnight in 08/2022 and can confirm this is still a great spot. Google “Portsmouth 72-hour parking” and this and others lots all over the area show up. We stayed one night with no issues! It is just a parking lot.

Sign allows for 72 hours parking. Stayed one night and there were a few other rigs there. Nothing for large rvs though. Quiet and close to downtown
