The road to get here is NOT maintained. Full of potholes and not a very safe road. When we got to the spot there was a car parked, running, with a guy in it staring at us and acting super sketchy. Got a bad vibe and did not feel safe. We left 5 minutes after arriving. Not worth it. Would not recommend.

Parallel lake Shasta is this dirt road with ample turn outs for overnight camping. There is even a walk in site under the power tower with a picnic table and fire pit. - this road is NOT trailer friendly. Unlevel dirt road with small turn around at end. Some pull outs have steep trails to waters edge.
