LOVE this beach. Most campers here over age 45 and stay for months at a time. Less people here than the o ther beaches close by. The most beautiful sunsets and sunrises I've ever seen. Slept with the doors open and listened to the waves. Ate the best beach tamale of my life here for 25 pesos. Saw dolphins! Heard sea lions. Highly recomme...

Great spot for kayaking or SUP. 200 pesos a night. Vendors come by with non potable water and many other things. You can get fresh fish, tamales, blankets, pastries and more. Stay away from the horse guy. He’s a creeper. Also there is an aggressive man from Idaho here who refuses to leash his dog. He will tell you to leave. Stay out of spite. We did and we had a great time. We went out on our SUPs daily. There were dolphins one day. We also watched pelicans and other birds fish for food every day. This is a great spot if you can ignore the entitled expats who seem to feel they own the place. We met plenty of nice people but there’s a vibe here that can feel very unwelcome which is disappointing.

Beautiful little beach spot tucked away from the main highway. Unfortunately there were a couple older Canadians who felt they owned the joint, implementing weird rules like no dogs on a leash. I think they forgot that they don’t own the beaches down here! Regardless of that, it’s still an incredible place. Bring a paddleboard or kayak to explore the nearby islands! Also… please be sure to get to know and support the local vendors. They are good people with kind hearts, and their livelihood depends on our support. 🥰
