There are condos on both sides of this street with no one’s front door facing the street. Pretty quite and safe neighborhood. I found a flat spot. I heard voices on the sidewalk around dusk and peered out to see Jehova Witnesses on bikes, so I felt like it’s safe. The people at the corner store were totally nice and there is a food truck there.

Back to this spot twice in 2 months… a totally crazy homeless person loitered for about 20 minutes when I arrived… there are plenty of them in Austin… he seems to be gone now… so if that’s gonna freak you out maybe get a proper camping spot when in Austin…
