A great place to visit in Huntsville for a short hike and a beautiful view. At the summit you can view the area for miles around. It's about a 10 minute walk to downtown where there are plenty of shops (SO many nice patios), services and a scenic area. Parking: Oversized vehicles should not attempt to drive up to the summit, but park at the base, there are two parking lots. Van conversions should only drive up to the summit only during not busy times. Turning around if all parking spaces are taken could be a nightmare.
