This pull off is long and generous in nature. There is some rotted area directly in the middle, but generally there's no lift to the road and can accommodate large vehicles. There is a nice view of the ocean and sunset over the mountains(Malibu faces south). My first time staying here was just for an entire afternoon and it seemed like there were people who might be camping here in RVs. This time I came to stay overnight and when I woke up they were at least four others staying here as well. One of them was an RV towing a car.

As the original post said, the pull off is wide and long. Plenty of space. Quite a few campers and vans during the day. A few at night. Nice roar of waves — and traffic. Quite a lovely view. We slept well. In the morning there was a tow truck driving around. Seeming to wait for an opportunity, although there are NO “no overnight parking” signs. Just No dumping signs. We need to dump gray water, but we’ll find another spot. Want to keep this a hospitable location for future travelers!

Good spot in a pinch and you can’t beat the view you wake up to. Very loud traffic a majority of the night to be expected. Around 6am a few construction trucks pulled in. No one bothered us though. There was one other van parked here. Along the road there seems to be more cars/vans trailers parked along pch1 as well with limited no parking signs.
