This is a cute little picnic area but I was told by a police officer to use for sleeping near the park I was trying to paddle out. It’s a little close to the road but is shaded. There’s no bathroom here but There are two Porta potty’s half a mile down the road at the paddling trail. And plenty of places to park by the river but was told that you needed to actively be fishing at night to park there. I didn’t see any signs prohibiting overnight parking the first time I was there and stealth camped successfully but I’m guessing they just thought I was down by the river fishing not sleeping in my van.
