Great place to spend the night! There’s a store to buy fresh cheese, chocolates, ice cream, and other speciality items. There’s a wine bar and a food truck (closes at 6pm). There’s a petting zoo if you’re traveling with kids and even an outdoor area to hang out with lots of chairs and multiple cornhole boards. Just check in when you arrive and find a parking spout in their big field.
Free, lovely, bathrooms, wifi, and pet friendly. Also can walk to the deli/cafe for food.
Felt super safe, there was plenty of room and it was decently quite for being right next to 101
Loved this place! It was spacious, had all kinds of amenities at the store, plus food and goodies you can buy. Clean bathrooms and a PETTING ZOO!!!!
Wine and cheese destination that allows single night camping for all or 2 night for Harvest Host members.
Simply check in before they close. They have a snack store and restaurant- we bought ice cream!
This js primarily a Harvest Host location but they allow anyone to camp here. They have rules posted on a sign at the camping entrance (photoed in this review). Essentially: must register within business during open hours (open til 7pm at the moment), self contained camping only (no hook ups, no draining or dumping anything onto the ground, pack it out, etc), no tents allowed, and campsite is under video surveillance. To register go in the main building and within the first "room" there's an iPad setup for punching in your name, email, and license plate. You'll get a registration sheet from a clerk to put in your dash. Don't park in anyway that blocks the roadways within the field. Otherwise it's very self explanatory! It's definitely courtesy to buy something if you can. Wine flights were $10 for 5 pours, or their single beers are pretty cheap. Plenty of unique seating indoors, or enjoy their patio. I didn't notice any wifi networks during our stay. Camping is spacious. We were one of over a dozen rigs but we still felt like privacy and spacing was respected. There is currently a porta potty here, not sure if that's just a summer thing or specific to a recent event they had here. There is a blue water spigot not far past the porta potty. It works but I can't vouch for potability. There is a killer blackberry patch along the back line of the field. Folks do run their generators all night but it's just white noise. The petting farm is noisier anyways, though not too disruptive, just some chicken and donkey chatter through the night and in the morning. All in all this place was a fantastic stay and a great way to stretch your social muscles with other vagabonds without paying to go to a meet-up.
