You can park on the backside of the building. We chose not to stay the night bc there were a ton of homeless people camping around the area and we didn't feel comfortable. Not sure if they are always there or not. If that doesn't bother you then, go for it.

The city has lossened up about people sleeping in vans. Many people here have been living out there van for months. I stayed 2 weeks no problem. If you park along side streets make sure you move for street sweepings Monday mornings.

Only ended up staying here for one night before I continued on my journey but its a great spot. Relatively quiet area, a block from the beach with Groundworks coffee right there and a bathroom. Like the last review said... the posted signs don't seem to matter. The gate gets locked at night and reopens in the morning.
