This is a lovely park in Lakewood that is within the city but it feels like you're in the middle of the wilderness when you're in the middle of the park. Lots of trails to run, walk, bike. Trails go along the a stream. there's also ponds and wetlands and grassy areas. Lots of wildlife to see like migratory birds, rabbits, prairie dogs, eagles, beavers, coyotes and more. There is a small little event building you can reserve also there are bathrooms, picnic tables and shelters with barbecue grills near one of the parking lots, horseshoes Great place to bring your dog for a walk.
