This is BLM land at the edge of an old rock quarry. Accessing this area without going down in the bowl is easy enough for any vehicle to do. Plenty of sites to accomodate big rigs too. Road noise is louder up here and there is no shade to speak of. But verizon is stronger than in the bowl and there is less trash. Please take care not to park on dry grass with a hot undercarriage!
