This area is called “the Chains” and has beach/river access + the Hanging Gardens 1mile hike. NO GLASS. Leave no trace. No overnight parking

Great lot to park and spend the day, especially if you like hiking. Clean pit toilets on site and a dumpster. Beautiful views of the lake, the dam, and some amazing sandstone formations. If you walk around the sandstone you can find people who have carved their names into it, which while I don't support, it's pretty cool to look back at time and wonder where they are now. Gravel road but pretty smooth. Decent cell signal.
