Great dispersed site in the Great Sand Dunes National Park / Preserve along the Medano pass four wheel drive road. Full passage of the road is seasonal with the campsites closer to the park being available longer. Be sure to call the Park office or check the website for status. National park pass required. The approach is very sandy and while four wheel drive may not be required such experience is highly recommended. No reservations are accepted, these sites are first come first served. Bear boxes are provided on site to lock your food.
