I love this spot. Cell service up in the mountains, good views wonderful weather, tons of wildlife and there's even a bathroom nearby! The area: There are 20+ sites in this OHV area where most roads are passable with 2WD. I did see multiple trailers drive down the road but I would scout ahead before bringing a camper or trailer past the Kamook staging area just in case. Idk, I drive a van. Lol. A few times a day a couple machines would fly by, riders were super polite and friendly. There is a pit toilet 2 minutes south at the Kamook staging area, there was also a portable toilet at the trailhead on the paved road just before turning into this area. Internet: Cell service is usable for work but not ideal as it frequently bounces between 5G/2 bars LTE(AT&T) so it was painfully slow 2-3 times a day. After a few days I decided to turn on the booster and had no issues at this site or few further down the road but internet at the kamook staging area was unusable regardless.
