Stayed here just one night and felt a little bit sketchy. No one else except some cars came and went (and got super close to my vehicle shining their headlights - which made me feel uneasy - I thought about leaving but was too tired. Woke up and saw another van parked in the opposite side of the lot. Ok if you’re in a jam as overnight parking anywhere around Lake Tahoe is hard to find.

Plenty of space even on a holiday weekend. Portapotty and acceptable cell service on ATT. Road is a little noisy but nothing terrible.

Stayed 2 nights and had no problems. Very safe and other people around. Although a ton of traffic and not quiet traffic either. But does a good place in Tahoe outweigh that for sure! Will be back again!

There’s a dinky little laminated no camping sign now.

This is a safe overnight parking lot just outside of South Lake Tahoe in Meyers Flat. Location is great for dogs and there are hiking trails that start at the parking lot.

Safe overnight parking. No frills, no amenities. Just a good parking lot that leads to trails and a little creek. Great for walking your pup but watch out for coyotes! Saw a few come out at sunset!

Stayed here one night, I was the only one parked a couple of cars came and went but felt safe overall. Some highway noise but was ok. Nice location next to hwy 50. This is the parking lot for a trail head. Some city construction vehicles were parked here also. Overall nice!
