Also marked as “forest camping” both two spots were taken so we drove just a little more down the road and found this spot. Lots of others camping on other pull offs. Very open nice view of the gorge, river, mt adams and mt hood!! Quiet and clean! The road isn’t toooo bad, just a tad bumpy, definitely could make up in a two wheel drive:-)

Beautiful place. When I stayed here was raining so it was pretty quite, but there are a bunch of cool ramps for mountain bikes. So if you are into mountain biking this would be awesome. If you are not and are like me, it would still be awesome

Awesome spot, and plenty of places to camp. I was here in late January and the dirt road in got super sketchy. It was pitch black, plenty of snow and bumpy. 2 wheel Promaster had a rough time, and I never made it all the way to the GPS location on here. Plenty of awesome spots before that though. Woke up to a monster of a pickup truck screaming down the trails, looked like a ton of fun. 2 bars (AT&T) Might be a popular place in warmer months but I only saw one other camper.
