This is a great spot, especially for equestrian camping. It is located on the Shore to Shore trail. High post for high tying horses are everywhere. It is next to a river, which you can water the horses in. There is also a hand pump for water. Vault toilets. Dumpster for garbage. $6 per person per night. Self register. 30 minutes from Traverse City.
