This area is the location of Valdez prior to the 1964 earthquake that destroyed much of the town. There are 5-6 decent spots along this road, it can get a bit muddy after lots of rain so be careful not to get stuck. We were just fine in our 2WD van though. The views are great as your close to the water. It’s a bit swampy though so there really isn’t a beach.
