So Sebastián Inlet State park is very crowded. Just after the bridge is a series of secluded beaches that enter the inlet very nicely. A great place to watch the sun go down and have a moment without the sound of a crowd.
I live nearby and has been my favorite spot, before I even got a van. It is a great spot to park and enjoy the river or the beach, without crowds of poeple. There's a lot of wildlife including sharks, bobcats, sea turtles, manatees and gopher tortoise. Nobody, seems to bother you there but the ranger may stop to see, if you are ok. I have never spent the night but I have parked there after midnight and wasn't bothered....Caution... the riverside is a breeding ground for sawfish, so always do the stingray shuffle.
Stayed here one night no issues. Beautiful location, clean, saw dolphin, lots of birds… loved it! BUT the no-see-ums were realllllllly bad
