Some people swung by for fishing, evidence of campfires seems to indicate this would be a great spot to camp. I car camped at the smaller site to the west, made myself a fire and didn't get bothered. Not much road noise as it's off the path a bit. There's an airline crash memorial nearby. 3 bars Verizon, T-Mobile spotty but could get signal when on the main road.
