Maybe it's because the water was high and you couldn't park on the beach but man this spot was crowded and loud.

Tons of spots along the Lakeshore. When the dam has released water you can park amongst the graveyard of trees. Secluded lake surrounded by mountains. Highly recommend this spot!

An amazing spot, one of my favorites I've been too. Apparently everyone else thinks so too. Was completely full by the water when I came on Sunday morning. By Monday morning only 3 of us left. Still tons of open space if you don't mind being away from the water but the swimming was really nice. Dirt road on the way in but not bad at all, full bars of service.
