Lots of dispersed camping on the Scenic Loop & Darby Well Rd. This is a busy boondocking area because it’s close to town and has good cell signal in many places. The desert is beautiful. We felt safe and didn’t have any issues.

I’m leaving a three star review simply because I really don’t recommend coming and staying here alone if you are a female. My first night staying there I had a sketchy white van pull up to my site and try to talk to me and if it wasn’t for my dog who attacked them and made them quickly drive off I don’t know what I would have done. Seemed like a sex trafficking situation. Although after that I pulled near some kind people who I told what happened and had a great time the rest of my stay because of them. I spent Christmas there and the kind people I did meet actually invited me to spend it with them so I had a great time, just be careful. Other wise there is so much free land out here to stay it’s insane. Just keep driving around and you’ll find hundreds of a read of free camping area other than this pinned location!
