Quiet place with seasonal stream. Little to no cell service, but nice trails to enjoy the scenery and wildlife

Little bit of a rocky road. Sites are numbered 1-12 but there are extra pull out spots along the road. We ended up nestling ourselves in one of the small spots just off the road between sites 9 and 10. Very busy over the weekend. Madera Canyon area is beautiful! Woke up to cows mooing.

It’s a beautiful campsite, but not the best area. Ended up leaving in the middle of the night after feeling unsafe due to some unruly neighbors. Could’ve just been a bad night and it was definitely worth spending time there during the day, but I really doubt I’ll ever be back.
