September through April, this is a Long-term Visitor area, with a $40-14 day permit or $180 for the season. April to September it is a normal BLM camping area, free for 14 days. The permit is valid for all the LTVA sites in the region.

Make sure you get there before 4 because the camp host leaves at that time and you can’t stay without a permit. I don’t know why this says it’s free to just drive in and doesn’t say you have to have a permit. 🙃

So it says 14 days free but just across the street on West side it was $40 for 2 week parking. I There was no one at the front desk to ask about this side. But it looks like it's not free. There's bathrooms here and I believe water fill up station at some place as well but not positive.
