Highly recommend this campground! I stayed one night (Sun-Mon) and it was very quiet. I camped at site 9 and it was level enough for me and right on the water. I was able to put in my paddle board right from my campsite. Lots of boats and fishing on the lake as well. Electricity at every site; water, flush toilets, and hot showers in each loop. Good enough cell service to make calls, send/receive texts, and browse the internet. I recommend site 9 or 10 of you only need one spot. If you have a group and want two spots, I’d recommend sites 29 + 30. They are right next to each other - too close for comfort for strangers but great for a group. Sites must be booked online through recreation.gov. Staff onsite cannot book for you upon arrival. Less than 40 min drive to Hot Springs National Park.
